The local Marshalls and Rise Park Conservative Action Team have launched a petition after several incidents in local parks to demand that Havering Council lock the local parks at night as well as review what security measures are in place, i.e. CCTV.
This comes after the Residents Association decided to cancel the Park Security Team contract in a bid to save money despite being warned by the Conservatives that this would lead to an increase in crime and in particular, Anti-Social behaviour.
