The Romford Conservatives and Andrew Rosindell M.P. are launching a petition to oppose proposals that could weaken or restrict the Freedom Pass, a vital lifeline for older a residents across our town.
The Freedom Pass helps thousands of local people stay independent — allowing them to attend medical appointments, visit family, shop locally and remain active members of society. Any move to reduce eligibility or limit where and when the pass can be used would hit the most vulnerable hardest and risk increasing isolation and hardship.
At a time when the cost of living remains high, taking away free travel would place an unfair burden on those who have contributed to our society all their lives.
The Romford Conservatives believe the Freedom Pass should be protected, not diluted. That is why we will campaign alongside Andrew Rosindell M.P. to ensure this essential entitlement is safeguarded for current and future generations.
By signing this petition, you are sending a clear message: hands off the Freedom Pass.
