Brooklands Ward is west of the Romford Town Centre, starting from North Street and Rom Valley Way.  The ward covers the communities of Lower Mawney, Crowlands, and part of Rush Green.

The ward features many landmarks including the Queen’s Hospital, Cottons Park, St Edward’s Church of England School, and the Crown Farm.

Robert is a truly local candidate, having been born in Rush Green Hospital and lived in Rush Green Road for almost 40 years. He is passionate about working in the local community has served as a councillor for the past 12 years. Over those 12 years he has worked with local residents and organisations, in improving our local area and wants to continue to help tackle some of the challenges we face as a community and council.

Viddy was first elected to the council four years ago and works with the community to make a real difference to people's lives; giving them a voice at the council. She raised her family locally for the past 35 years, has worked and managed a successful recruitment business in Romford, getting thousands of residents into the workforce. She also serves as a trustee for two local organisations, including the Havering Citizens Advice Bureau.

Tim has lived in Romford for more than 30 years, and supports local charities including St Francis Hospice and the British Heart Foundation. Our precious green spaces are important to Tim, and he is a member of the Friends of King George’s Park Committee to help improve and maintain the park so that our local families and residents can enjoy it. If elected, Tim will protect the weekly bin collection so residents have a local service they can rely on.
